A couple of hybrid bass, the largest two I caught were 19 & 21 inches! On the biggest one I actually thought the line was snagged at first! I had put my pole down and was pulling on the line to break it free, and after a minute of that, the snag pulled back! Wow! What a great fighting fish! This was one great fun fish to pull in! At Lake Belton in Texas, near Salado Texas where I was leading and participating in a retreat for Texas Baptist Ministers of Education.

Grandson Lane being a boy! Relaxed, singing, and enjoying himself at Pop's house in Louisiana.

Our daughter Erin, with her youngest, Ethan. Both look pretty happy, don't they?

This is son JohnMark and his nephew and our grandson Lane "fishing" off of Big Pop's bridge. Although the "bait" consisted of nothing more than a couple of washers, and there's not much to fish for, it's all about the experience. One of the better Kodak moments of the weekend.

This is grandson Lane, who's not too sure about the local wildlife here, who's hitching a ride. He found this lizard while we were hunting Easter eggs. Our favorite "Lane" quote this day? "I LIKE picking EGGS!"

Love that smile, Ethan!

That boy loves to laugh!

Pop swinging with grandson Ethan. That's one fine boy! He's happy as long as we're moving!

This is son Daniel with his nephew and our grandson Ethan, who looks a bit unsure here... Two very fine boys...
